Chicken Burgers



Ingredients for the Patty:
- 500g chicken breast
- 1 egg
- 1 white onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup of chives, finely chopped
- 1/2 bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 sweet chili pepper, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon of oregano
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of Refisal Sea Salt
- Pickles
- Ingredients for Assembly:
- Artisan-style burger buns
- Mayonnaise
- Romaine or baby lettuce
- Tomato slices
- Sliced cheddar or sabana cheese
- Red onion slices
Instructions:
Process the chicken breast in a food processor until finely ground. In a bowl, mix the ground chicken with onion, egg, bell pepper, garlic, Refisal Sea Salt, black pepper, and oregano until well combined. Shape the mixture into small balls, then flatten them into burger patties. TIP: You can place them on a tray and freeze them for future use.
Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the patties until golden brown on both sides and fully cooked in the center. Toast the burger buns in a pan with a little butter. Assemble the burger with mayonnaise, grilled chicken patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles.
